Introduction
The Opalis Integration Pack for EMC Smarts InCharge 6.2 is an add-on for Opalis Integration Server that enables you to build Policies that manage EMC Smarts InCharge operations.
Managing the lifecycle for Smarts InCharge notifications efficiently and effectively is a challenge for many IT organizations. Users need tools that can instantly integrate and automate Smarts notifications into standardized IT processes and software. This Integration Pack enables users to monitor for key modifications and take automated diagnostic or corrective actions in response. Opalis Integration Server also provides users with sophisticated tools to dynamically decide what actions should be taken, to whom critical notifications should be assigned, and by which channel a notification should be issued, such as email, pager, or a trouble ticketing system.In addition to these benefits, this Integration Pack also enables you to suppress notifications for events such as scheduled and dynamic maintenance periods for managed servers, or ad-hoc maintenance periods. This enables your staff to troubleshoot without having to process unnecessary notifications.Fixes and Enhancements
